I've been involved with racing for over twenty years. In the late eighties and early nineties I rode races at Hastings Park in Vancouver. In 1990 I met my husband, Gerry Olguin, who was also a jockey at Hastings.
In 2000 we moved, with our son Kai, to Toronto to allow Gerry to further his riding career at Canada's premier racetrack. As there were a lack of quality products available to riders at the time, I started bringing equipment to Woodbine. In 2005 I opened the Jocks Room store on the Woodbine backstretch.
As a former jockey and lifelong horseperson, I recognize the needs of jockeys and trainers. I strive to provide products that are stylish, durable, of the highest quality and safety standards, many of which are made in Canada.
